Privacy Policy

FTPSuite ("the Apps") refers collectively to FTPull, FTPush, and FTPSuite — macOS applications developed by Ferran ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use any of our applications. All apps are exclusively available for macOS 13 (Ventura) or later.

1. Information we collect

Our apps are designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect minimal information:

Purchase information: When you purchase any of our apps, payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com). We receive your email address and purchase confirmation. We do not receive or store payment card details.

FTP credentials: Your FTP server credentials (host, username, password) are stored locally on your Mac using the macOS Keychain or UserDefaults. These credentials are never transmitted to us or any third party.

Usage data: Our apps do not collect analytics, telemetry, usage statistics, or behavioral data. They operate entirely locally on your device.

2. Information we do NOT collect

• We do not track your usage of the Apps
• We do not collect file names, file contents, or transfer history
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
• We do not collect device identifiers
• We do not share any data with third parties for advertising
• We do not use analytics SDKs or crash reporting services

3. Data storage

All data generated by our apps (configuration, logs, transfer history, statistics) is stored locally on your Mac. No data is transmitted to external servers. Your FTP credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain on your device.

The Remote File Browser feature allows you to browse, create, rename and delete files and folders on your FTP server directly from the app. All interactions occur directly between your Mac and the FTP server — no browsed file names or directory listings are transmitted to or stored on our servers.

4. Third-party services

The only third-party service involved in your purchase is Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), our payment processor, who manages license key generation and validation. Their privacy policy is available at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.

5. macOS permissions

Our apps may request the following macOS permissions:

• Network access: Required to connect to your FTP/SFTP/FTPS servers
• File system access: Required to read/write files to your chosen local folder
• Notifications: Optional, used to alert you about completed transfers or errors

6. Data security

Since all data remains on your device, security is governed by your macOS security settings, including FileVault encryption and Keychain protection. For SFTP and FTPS connections, data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.

7. Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

9. Your rights

Since our apps do not collect personal data beyond your purchase email, there is minimal data to manage. If you wish to:

• Delete your data: Simply uninstall the app. All local data will be removed.
• Access your data: All data is stored locally on your Mac and accessible to you at all times.
• Request purchase data deletion: Contact us and we will delete your email from our records.
