I'm a wedding and sports photographer based in Barcelona. I've been shooting professionally for 15 years and since 2020, sports photography: motorsport, Formula 1, football, basketball and more.

Sports photography introduced me to a workflow I'd never dealt with before: FTPS transfers. Picture desks, wire agencies and media organizations all work this way. You finish a shoot, you need your files on a server, fast, reliably, without stopping what you're doing.

After years of working like that, I decided to fix it.

Why I built this

Working at a sports event means editing under pressure. You're in Capture One or Lightroom, focused on getting photos out fast. But every few minutes you have to stop, open your FTP client, drag the files over, come back, and pick up where you left off. By the time you're focused again, there are 80 new photos waiting. So you stop again. And again. The whole day.

The problem wasn't editing speed. It was the constant interruption of having to manually move files between apps.

I just needed something that would watch a folder and send new files to the server on its own. No stopping, no switching, no dragging. Nothing I found did that. So I built it.

FTPull handles downloads. FTPush handles uploads. You configure them once, they sit in your menu bar, and they do their thing. That's it.
